What you need: checkerboard or chess board, paring knife, glass serving bowl
You know your crowd. If you have a group who are not big fans of dessert, simply serve a few boxes of upmarket chocolates and fresh fruit salad.
- 2 boxes of fancy chocolates (two different kinds)
- 1 pint each fresh strawberries, blueberries & raspberries
Clean the berries. Slice and place in a glass bowl (a small trifle bowl works well).
To Serve: Place the chocolates on the checker/chess board. Put one kind at one end and another kind at the other end. Serve your guests at the table, allowing them to help themselves to the chocolates, passing around the board.
