Lemon Butter Sauce is a great way to add a little pizazz to plain steamed vegetables. I often use this sauce when I’m having a dinner party or at our Sunday Family Suppers. It’s super simple and really elevates everyday veggies to something a little more special. To make the sauce place 2 tbs of salted butter in a ramekin or microwave safe bowl. Add the juice of half a lemon and 1 tsp each of salt and pepper. You can either pop it in the microwave to melt the butter or place it in the oven if you’ve already got something on the go. Use a fork to combine and pour over your veggies. If you are putting this sauce on greenbeans or even better haricot vert (skinny french green beans) you can use a slice of lemon to create little parcels of green beans. A great way to make your plate look a little more elegant at your next dinner party.
